Understanding leather means designing more consciously.
In our workshops, we show where leather comes from, how it is processed and what makes it truly sustainable.

Whether a lecture, training course or multi-part workshop: We provide insights into origin, supply chains, tanning and material quality - individually adapted or openly bookable.

Our three-part workshop concept is aimed at anyone who wants to delve deeper - from entry to decision-making level. We offer customized formats and speaker input for schools, companies and events.

The series is particularly close to our hearts "The path of leather" in collaboration with the Swiss label MARAI, a journey from the origin to the atelier, where theory meets craftsmanship.

Well-founded & structured: Our individual workshop modules

We have deliberately designed our three workshop modules to provide step-by-step guidance: from getting started to in-depth expertise. Behind every piece of leather are decisions - about origin, processing and responsibility. You can book the modules individually.

The content builds on each other, combining in-depth knowledge with practical relevance, rooted in our own experience in agriculture, craftsmanship, and design.
What guides us: the desire to dispel myths, make knowledge accessible, and open up new, sustainable perspectives on leather.

Whether you’re looking for a first introduction or aiming to make informed decisions for your business, our workshop offerings support you on that journey, online or in person.

The Path of Leather - Workshop series in collaboration with MARAI

Where does leather truly begin—and what does it take to turn it into a durable, valuable product? In our joint workshop series with the Swiss label  MARAI,  we open doors that usually remain closed: you’ll visit farms, learn about the tanning processes, and create your own piece in the studio.

“The Path of Leather” brings origin to life - sensory, honest, and artisanal. In small groups, we create space for genuine insights, open questions, and personal encounters with people, animals, and materials.

Upcoming event: "From Tanning to Craft" August 28, 2025, 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

To kick off the series, we first visit the tannery - we experience how hide is turned into leather. Afterwards, we will work together in the studio to create our own piece from regionally tanned leather.
Personal, approachable and with space for genuine exchange. Places are limited.
You can find more information about the schedule, prices and workshop content here.

We look forward to experiencing this unique journey with you.
